The Heart of Man
What is a heart? In the physical bodies of God's creatures, the heart is a muscular organ connected to the circulatory system, that is responsible for pumping blood throughout the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions. In the poetic world of human emotions, it can be described as the character of a man, the seat of the innermost truth of one's mind, the sincerest sensibilities or callousness toward something. In any definition, it is the vital center of one's being, anatomically or mentally. And in any case, it is a significant feature in preserving life.
